Hackathon Rules & Prizes
Teams
- Teams must have 1–4 members.
Attendance
- All team members must be present for:

Opening Ceremony: Saturday at 11 AM

Project Presentation: Sunday at 12 PM
- You may leave the venue to work elsewhere, but attendance at key moments is required.
Getting Help
- Mentors, organizers, etc. are available for advice and feedback.
- They cannot do the work for you.
- Use of Generative AI tools for product development and ideation is encouraged.
Project Work
- All project work must happen during the hackathon.
- Brainstorming beforehand is fine.
- You may work on an old idea, but cannot reuse code from earlier versions.
- Originality is encouraged but not required — you can build something that already exists.
Using External Code
- Teams are encouraged to use open-source libraries and frameworks.
- Do not attempt to pre-build your project and call it “open source.” Organizers will notice.
Submissions & Presentations

Devpost submissions must be made by 10 AM on Sunday.
- Late submissions will be disqualified.
- Small bug fixes during your demo are allowed (e.g., fixing a typo or one-line bug).
- No major changes or feature additions during the demo.
Disqualifications
- Breaking the rules can result in disqualification.
- Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any team/individual at their sole discretion.
- Be cool.
